Get in touch with the HFlash newsroom

HFlash is an independent UK digital news publication, and our newsroom depends on readers who tell us what is happening where they live. Whether you have a story to share, a correction to raise, a question about something we have published, or a commercial enquiry, this page explains the fastest way to reach the right desk.

News tips and story ideas

If you have information you believe should be reported, email the newsdesk at newsdesk@hflash.co.uk. Please describe what happened, when and where it happened, and how you came to know about it. Documents, photographs and video help us verify a story quickly, and we will always tell you before we publish anything that identifies you. We read every message we receive, though the volume of tips means we cannot reply to all of them individually.

Corrections and complaints

Accuracy matters more to us than speed. If you believe we have published something that is wrong, incomplete or unfair, write to corrections@hflash.co.uk with the headline, the date of publication and a clear explanation of what needs to change. Our full process, including how quickly we respond and how we label amended articles, is set out in our corrections policy.

Advertising and partnerships

Commercial enquiries should go to advertising@hflash.co.uk. We sell display advertising and clearly labelled sponsored content, and we do not sell links or editorial coverage under any circumstances. Full details of what we will and will not accept appear on our advertise with us page.

Editorial standards

Questions about how we source, verify and publish our journalism are welcome. Our editorial policy describes the standards every HFlash reporter works to, and general editorial questions can be sent to editor@hflash.co.uk.

Response times

The newsroom operates Monday to Friday, and we aim to answer editorial email within two working days. Corrections are treated as urgent and are usually acknowledged the same working day. Commercial enquiries are answered within three working days. If your message concerns an immediate safety issue, please contact the emergency services first.

Postal enquiries

Written correspondence can be sent to the editor, HFlash, United Kingdom. Please include an email address or telephone number so that we can reply promptly, as post is collected weekly rather than daily.
